VaporXV/V10 skate size

I have an opportunity to buy some V-10 skates at a good price but I won't be able to try them on before hand. Knowing this I went to my LHS and tried on some comparable bauer's (they did not have any nike's). 9D was just right in vapor XV's. Is there any difference in the nike's fit compared to the bauers?

Huge difference. The XV's are a much tighter fitting skate. Narrower and shallower.

I've tried on supreme's (3000, 5000) in 9D and they were way to narrow/short. I was really surprised that the XV's fit. I'm currently skating in Pro Tacks 9.5D but they are about a half size to big, (I like to have to squeeze my feet into the skate and curl my toes a bit).
