If you cant help him then why would you post? Anyway I know Easton is moving from 1 I-beam to 3, but I havent heard of any other companies doing it. What does an I beam really do anyway?

It adds to the stiffness of the blade. Look at the shots of the ST blade cut in half in the Easton catalogue. The I-beam basically acts as a pillar between the top and bottom of the blade. I don't think it will help with durability but it definately sounds like it will make the blade stiffer.

i does an xx have an i beam?? i though it has a wave of high and low density foam

Yeah it has an I-beam, the low/high density foams are placed below/above the I-beam I believe. But does the XXX have one? The website doesn't show it, and I know it's a true one, not fused like other "OPS'" which the fused blade has the I-Beam throughout the whole fused blade. (I'm basing this off of my friends broken pro stock Gionta XX which has an I-Beam)
