Cutting Broken XN10 OPS to Form Shaft?

Well, as some of you may know, I was trying to sell an XN10 OPS with a broken blade for quite some time (I did tell them it had a broken blade :P ). Now, ive decided to put a blade in it but I have no idea where to cut the shaft. I have to do it myself because my LHS messed up cutting my 1100 OPS to a shaft. Can anyone provide me with some step by step directions on what to do exactly?

Also, will any tapered blade fit the shaft? Ex: Synthesis, L-2, Inno, R2, etc.?

look for the fust point line.....cut there and chip out the insides...OR cut partially in all the way around and try heating it up and yanking it out.
