Mission Replacement Axles

About a year ago I bought a pair of '99 Mission Proto VSI's (http://www.inlinesports.com/skate_temp.cfm?productid=protovsi99). Right away I noticed that the axles were rounded out and my wheels wouldn't stay tight. They came with Mission Generator Pro Team Hi-Lo chassis w/ the single axle system. I haven't been able to find replacement axles. I contacted inlinesports.com about a week later for new axles and they said they couldn't help me out. Sick and tired of skating on 3 wheels, I recently contacted them and was told that it would cost me $6 PER axle. I was wondering if there was any other place I could find replacement axles for these skates. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

it looks like they have the same replacement bolts on the website that inlinesports.com had - and i can't find them cheaper anywhere else - i suppose they are just running out of them

i doubt you can get them cheaper anywhere else - if i were you i would buy quite a few extras so that you never have to buy them again - who knows for how much longer you will be able to get replacement parts for these skates

I have the same skates, I use them in goals now. Mission redesigned the axles from the light metal which cross threaded and brought out a shiny heavy axle, that was perfect.

If Mission won't give you some then I'd say get some from Epuck while you can. I have an Easton big wheel chassis that is useless as I am missing one axle.
