Easton Air gloves

I just bought a pair of Easton Air gloves, they're the 2000 model i believe, the one Jerome Iginla wears. On the palm of the glove there are these little easton logoes and they seem to help me grip my stick better, can anyone tell me what those are and how long they might have lasted? Thanks
