Does anyone customize their stick grip?

I make a knob with cloth hockey tape then just wrap the tennis grip down the shaft and use some shinguard or electrical tape at the bottom to make sure it doesn't come undone.

I just made the knob with cheap electrical / packing / duct tape. ( my stick knob is very small though )

I will do the same to the bottom if the tape they send with it to hold it down doesn't work.

The only thing with the over-grip that i found was it can tear quite easily if you just toss your stick around in the car / at home and throw stuff on top of your stick
