11k vs 20k

I have been wearing 11k's for the past 4 years, but they had a lot of issues and my brother had my size 20k's (same size as the 11k's) that he didn't use, so I bakes those and switched about 4 weeks ago (6 - 1 hour rink rentals). I am having a difficult time with switching (really had no trouble going from 1052 to 11k 4 years ago). They feel so much stiffer. Is the 20k that much different then the 11k? Or was my 11k boot just maybe broken down a little bit and I will adjust over time? I really like the feel and fit of the 11k's, so hoping the 20k will be the same, but not so far. Thanks!
