rbz maxx?

Saw one at my local total hockey, is this just a repaint of an rbz 80? Any thoughts?

Yeah it's a different color scheme of the RBZ 80. Guess you could say repaint, but the Maxx came out first. I think the Maxx was initially made as an SMU stick for Total Hockey when the Stage 2 was released but before they had released the lower models in that line. TH's big selling point on it at the time was being able to get the Speedblade 2 from the Stage 2 without the price. Now that the speedblade 2 is in the RBZ 80 (and 80 LE and 130) they're all pretty much the same stick, it just comes down to which color scheme you like best and what you can get your preferred curve in.

MAxx is only available in Nugent Hopkins and Hossa - so if you're into a Sakic or Kane style curve it's golden.
