  1. Hey guys, Does anyone have any experience with the Ca7 vs the RPD Shift skates. I tried the CA7's when they first came on the market but they were not right for me. I felt really flat footed. Its now time for another set of skates and the Price on the Shifts are making it tempting to try the brand again. Any input is helpful.
  2. Hey where in Brisbane did you get the skates baked? I have a pair of the Ca7's and I find the tounge doesn't cover my foot compared to when I wear my supreme's. As a result hardly used them in the past year and a half as they are just too uncomfortable.
  3. Any painting store, It works like a super super fine sandpaper. Another more time consuming method I used in the past is a cheap gritty toothpaste and cheese cloth.
  4. its a frame of a mission boss and just rubed with steel wool til the graphics vanished
  5. Bauer one.6 LE with a Hi-LO Mag Frame. Skated on tonight and really happy with my first bauer boot. Completed conversion myself as well due to closest shop with a rivet machine now 1350km's away Sorry about the sideways picture but photobucket wouldn't load the edit function for some reason
  6. Just played in our national tournament on my CA7 skates, think i sighted about 2 other pairs of alkali's in total. At the start of the tournament the skates were killing my fit, addedd some super feet which made it a little better. I found my self really flat (no forward lean) on the skates and was wondering if people have a quick fix for this?
  7. Did you bake them at home? If so what temperature, times did you use?
  8. Just got my Ca7 Skates and took them for a skate - Not baked yet as training tonight. Nice boot and set up. For those trying to figure out their skate size before ordering from over seas. I usually skate in a size 8 Mission T9 with no socks. I ordered a size 8.5 Alkali and this seems to me slightly shorter by a few mm ( Maybe just the toe cap design). If this changes after baking and a couple of skates I will update but I would suggest going a full size bigger then current Mission range. But for those who like a smaller heel with a wider toe cap this is a great boot straight out of the box.
  9. Need help on sizing, been reading through the forum and it says to get the same size as bauer's but then it says they are the same size as the pre bauer missions. I had a size 8 mission t9 and due to the amount of bad reviews on Tour's i am deciding to not take a lucky dip. I can't try on the skates and have to order them in.
  10. Tthe are the Commander SE, With the bauer toe cap. Also have size 10 shoe on the size tag.
  11. Hi, I am not doing an ice to inline but wanting to do an inline to ice conversion. Just need some help in what size runners etc to buy, they will only be used for the odd pick up game (2 on2) as our rink is tiny and the only one within 1300km. I have a brand new pair of Mission Commander Boots (no chassie) i Us8.5D ( Bauer Sizing )
  12. So far I have placed three orders. First I ordered just wheels and was please, then a new set of inline skates and ice, they didn't have the skates I ordered in my size and also upgraded me free of charge, They also upgraded anumber of other items and don't seem to want wrong stuff sent back. Customer service is tops, price's are good as well. ( though I only seem to order known brand equipment.)
