  1. I have an Easton S3, 85 flex, (cut at the 87 flex mark) which is near perfect flex for me (just a tad too soft.) I just received an Easton S15, 85 flex yesterday, haven't used it yet, but it feels a LOT stiffer than my S3, even though they are marked the same flex. Can I expect it to loosen up a bit with some use? I think I will be struggling to load it up the way it is. (I'm 180cm, 74kg)
  2. Interesting thread. I'm an ex-metal machinist with a little bit of precision grinding experience, good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. I'd love to have a machine out the back where I could sharpen skates for people! Maybe I should talk to my rink about part-time sharpening... hmm maybe in exchange for free ice time...
  3. Was a really nice day, felt like a ride, but needed to pick up a new stick from the LHS. So I did both at once: Carrying a stick on each side was tricky, wouldn't try that again, at least not on a short wheelbase 250. I'd hate to try carrying a gear bag on a little 250, however!
