I don't think it's the customers' responsibility, but the employee. As a customer, go ahead and buy a skate 3 sizes too big. makes my job as your opponent a whole lot easier. But as an employee, I should do my job correctly.You, sir, are a Sage. never more wise words have been spoken. Too many employees here deride the customer as an unknowing buffoon, ignoring the fact their reply is the greater evil

there's THAT much difference between a ONE90 and a ONE95???
it's not like you can really get ONE90's anymore (yes, I know they're out there)

if it's a make up for a retailer/chain, i imagne they can (or try to) dicate the specs to a certain degree as they're providing the $$

question on Easton blade patterns: most everyone here... the Modano/Forsberg/Zetterberg curve is the same (P4) and most others apply, but on Eastons website (and the current catalogue), when looking at sticks/blades, the Zetterberg is shown as P12, Iginla is shown as P1 etc. just curious...

Don't get me wrong, I'll do them, and the guy will be 100% satisfied. We get a few repeat offenders, who like to use us as an internet fitting station.That's a whole other story lol........ I'll foreshadow by saying I'm a shop regular, on a first name basis with everyone know what I need when I go in the shop all you have to do for me is ring it up and take my money..... so I went into my shop the other day to finally do my fitting for customs, I sit and wait for over an hour for the fitting and when they finally come over to me he hands me the measuring tape, brannock device, order form and tells me to fill it on and let him know when I'm done..... Now luckily for me I knew what I was doing and knew what I wanted with my skates but what if I didn't? I'm trying to hand them $800 on the spot for a pair of skates I'll get in 4-6 weeks and they make me wait a hour and then have me fit myself. I guarantee this happens to customers all the time, so if you aren't getting the one on one service why pay the extra money in the store?

seems to me he was fishing for a sale and hoping for the usual customer response of ... 'it'll be good enough' knowing it's not what they really wanted. However, to outright say that Bauer isn't making their top-end stick??? Not a very savvy salesperson (probably in Bikes last week!! :D)

hahaha!! i remember when someone here posted a link to their review of the S17 stick and i remeber thinking at the time "shit, i've never seen or used this stick and (because of MSH), I know more about it than he did" and i didn't need someone to hold up a spec sheet either. all their videos are useless even for the products they're pushing.

has it been any changes on the z-bubble/s15 shaft since it was released years ago. or is the old z-bubble find in the thread about a old easton catalogue the same as todays s15 shafttech-wise very similar (tho updated i'm sure) - tapered shaft with flared lower end to accept standard blades but my S15 is way boxier than my Z-Bubble
only noticed that the other day, i don't notice it too much with gloves but without, i must say i don't care for it in my hands
it's the only stick i have that's that squared-off. also the flare is more noticeable on the Z

Just looking at the customizer it doesn't show brown for the lettering...probably could get them to do it though. I agree though the black is a bit weird. I figure if I get customs gonna want to get something a bit different.Why not go really different
