  1. Sherwood T100 Flex: 85 Curve: Coffey (PP77) Design: Matte black grip with red accents Time Frame 5 months and counting, 2-3 times a week Aesthetics Going with all black stick with some red text and accents, this stick looks really good. I like the simulated checkered-carbon fiber design and you can't go wrong with an all black stick. 9/10 Weight and Balance I used many high end sticks and this one feels a tiny bit blade heavy, but maybe I notice it more due to a recent wrist injury to my top hand. Either way, the balance still feels good, but if you don't like a slightly heavier blade, then you may not enjoy this stick as much as one normally would. 8/10 Blade The blade has a surprising amount of pop, not as much as a Stealth RSII, but it's pretty good. The blade has held up pretty wall (I'm very hard on my sticks), but I've noticed last week that there is a slight chip in the toe. Could my my fault, but this is the beginning of the end of this stick unfortunately, which has been my absolute favorite. 8/10 Shaft and Flex I used to think grippy shafts were gimmicky but this stick really solidified my future with grip. The flex feels like a true 85, and the generic mid-kick point feels great for clappers and wristers. I really like the size of the shaft and find it manuver in any situation. 9/10 Stickhandling/Passing My stickhandling might have suffered a little bit with this stick, but it could be attributed to the slightly blade-heavy feel of it. I'm not the greatest stickhandler but I can feel the puck fairly well and would have no problems recommending it to anyone; although a more seasoned stickhandler may might say that the puck feel isn't the greatest. In regards to passing, I have no problem sending pucks tape to tape and this facet of my game has really improved with this stick. 8/10 Shooting I wasn't expecting much out of this in regards to shooting but I have been pleasantly surprised. The puck would fly off my stick like it did with my old Stealth RS, so I'm definitely not disappointed. Slapshots feel very accurate and lively, so no complaints there. 10/10 Durability This stick has lasted the longest out of all of the sticks I've had and aside from the toe of the blade slowly starting to chip, I haven't noticed any other issues with the durability. The blade doesn't feel like it's deadened and the flex still feels as it was when I first acquired the stick. 9/10 Overall 8.7 This is my favorite stick I've used so far. I think Sherwood has really stepped up their game with their new sticks and this is no exception. I've been recommending this stick to everyone that has asked about it and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one once this one falls apart on me.

    Easton Stealth RS

I signed in just to post this review, normally I just lurk (as is evident by my massive post count)... Easton Stealth RS Flex: 100 Curve: Hall (Sakic/P92) Design: Matte black yellow accents + grippy shaft Time Frame 4 months and counting, 3-4 times a week (games and pickup) Aesthetics It's a good looking stick, I'm not the biggest fan of the yellow accents but it still looks nice, very low profile and sleek. If you don't want a fancy looking stick that stands out, then this is definitely for you. 9/10 Weight and Balance I've used the Ai9 and the T90 and this definitely feels infinitely more balanced than either. It doesn't feel blade heavy at all and I can balance it on one finger almost in the middle of the shaft without any issues (that's also a testament to how light it is). It's very light, not the lightest stick you cant find, but I find it really helps defensively. As a defenseman, I find poke checks so much easier as well as board work. 9/10 Blade The blade has decent feel but is VERY poppy. The blade on this stick forced me to learn how to have softer hands when receiving passes and trying one-timed passes. At first, I tried to overcompensate by adding more tape to the blade (ie the way Phaneuf tapes his sticks), but this made the feel absolutely terrible), so I just stuck to as little tape as possible and just learned to handle the poppiness of this blade. There are some minor chips, but it's nothing too bad (mostly on the toe) for the time being. 8/10 Shaft and Flex The shaft is grippy but seems to become less grippy as you move further down the shaft, not sure if this was an intended design but I like it. This is the first 100 flex stick I've used extensively (I stepped up from 85 which felt a bit too whippy), so it feels true to flex compared to the other short-term 100 flex sticks I've tried. The shaft is a bit smaller, which I find makes it easier to grip and stick handle with. Loving the kickpoint on the tapered shaft, cannot be happier. Again, some minor chipping, but nothing to be worried about. 8/10 Stickhandling/Passing Even though the blade feels a little dead, due to the lightness of the stick you can really stickhandle your way out of a scrum or a tight situation pretty well. I find that my passes are harder now but the accuracy remains. As someone who tries to play as more of a puck mover, I absolutely love the way this stick has improved my passing game. 9/10 Shooting This is definitely a shooters stick as the previous reviewer mentioned. My slapshot is noticeably faster (although I'm still having issues controlling it a little bit), my snapshots are as well. The blade is very snappy and this is the first thing you will notice when you take a shot or three. 10/10 Durability I know a few guys that have complained about breaking their RS's, but I'm very hard on my sticks and haven't really had any issues with mine. The stick does tend to chip alot, but minor scuffs and scratches don't really bug me. 8/10 Overall 8.7 I've had a few friends chirp me because I paid alot of this stick, but I can definitely say that it's money well spent and there has been a noticeable improvement to my game in most aspects. If you have the cash laying around, snag one up, you won't be disappointed! [Edited for typos]

    Bauer Vapor X:40 Stick

Stick: Bauer Vapor X:40 Stickum Flex: 87 Curve: P92 Backstrom Player: 6'0, 210 lbs, pickup games 3~4 times a week versus players ranging from house league to former Junior A/OHL Shaft/Flex: I consider myself fairly strong, but the flex of the shaft feels just about right, not too much give and not too much stiffness either. This is one of two sticks that I have my collection that has a grippy shaft, which I enjoy but I don't might the non-grip either. 9/10 Blade/Puck Feel: As mentioned in the above review, the puck does feel a little dead sometimes, but I find it helps me receive hard passes pretty well still. 7/10 Weight/Balance: The weight and balance feels great! I play primarily defense, and most of my other sticks are heavier so it's always nice to be able to swing a quick poke check. After warming up/playing a little with a heavier (and longer) stick, switching to this mid-game REALLY helps me utilize it alot better. 9/10 Shooting: I'm not a huge shooter, but the flex feels good for wristers, definitely get enough whip. As far as slappers and one timers, I don't find it too hard to hit the sweet spot, and it still feels good irregardless. 8/10 Durability: I haven't really had any issues with the stick (all of mine go through severe beatings), although it is chipping a bit on the shaft where the graphics are, that doesn't really bug me. 8/10 Overall: 8.2/10
