I honestly have no idea why we don't have diferent socks. We've got everything from rbk warmups and edge practice jerseys, but the team has just always worn the solid socks I guess

I play for Franklin HS. We're a D2 public, but we're a pretty solid program.

I'm one vehicle away fom something I actually want to drive. Yep, FINALLY ditching the hockey-mum-mobile mini-van this week (woo-hoo) and getting a Mazda3 hatchback.
Hockeymom, that's a great choice, a blast to drive and I love mine.

Miss Conduct where did you get those gloves!?!? I NEED a pair like that, my HS rocks those colors and the gear whore in me says another year of navy/white mitts just won't cut it. They are absolutely beautiful!

Yeah that Mazdaspeed6 looks sweet...I have to swing down and see what the ACTUAL retail is. And my boss' husband is a Mazda salesman so I might be able to swing a deal.
BUT, I need to pay off the loan for another year first.
You would (most likely) be surprised, seeing as the '09 mazda6 is re-designed and they're discontinuing the MS6. In April I was looking at Mazdas, they were giving away the MS6's for under 23k, brand new.

Looking at the new 128i, maybe a used G35 or Mazda6. Something with low/no miles, fast, and small(er).
Check out the mazdaspeed6, its a wicked sleeper. 4wd, 265 hp, its a badass car.

It's nothing like up North. It's fun, but it's also the only HS hockey I've ever played.
I live about 15 min. from boston and I know mass is one of the "Hockey hotbeds" but honestly Highschool hockey in Mass is terrible. We get huge crowds for my local teams games, but I have to go to prep school next year because the level of play at my highschool is so bad.(I'm going to be a freshman) i dont think your missing out on anything playing in Florida.
What school do you play for/ go to?

Hey! I found something really weird!
(all according to the catalogue)
7K ops is weighted 460g but taper shaft + blade are (305g + 140g) 445g?
5K ops is weighted 500g but stan. shaft + blade are (275g + 160g) 435g?
7K ops < 5K ops
7K two-piece > 5K two-piece
It doesn't make any sense!
The Tapered shafts are usually longer than the standard shafts to account for the short hosel, that might be the case with the weights being different.

without using the mission stuff yet how do you know its better than jofa?What I meant was that this is so much better than 6 year-old Jofas. They FEEL just as nice as the Jofas, and I figured that the fact that I got them like ten minutes before impiled I'd never used them on the ice.

I just got home like ten minutes ago to see a package on the front steps. I was pretty excited b/c it was my Fuel 110 shins, shoulders and elbows. Man, was I pumped when I opened these up! Coming from Jofa's I've had since squirts (I now play HS, haven't grown much :( ) these are exponentially better. Not only do these things look really cool, but the protection is top-notch and they have all the bells and whistles. I've definitely become a Mission convert; as I now have all 110 Shins, shoulders and elbows, M1 Pro gloves, and M1 Pro pants. Just need an Intake now. Sorry for the crappy picture, its a camera phone; if you want more of anything specific let me know.

Here's my Vapor XXX Lite, the same one I got in December, except I got sick of the green X's and took 'em off. All I did was scratch off the green part with a nail file from a Swiss Army knife and used some of the sister's nail polish remover to remove the pink residue underneath it. I think it looks pretty sick and I must have got some fluke stick because this thing has been a TANK.

do u hate the typhonng as much as i do?I HATED the Typhoon. I used it for a month or so while I waited for the funds to get a new Synergy. It's really awful IMO; it's used for road hockey now.

And my Varsity Jerseys, I'm one of a like three 9th graders on Varsity in 8 years (Not trying to brag though) :P.
