yeah.. I just know once i get this cast off ill be on the stationary bike to get my strength back quickly... would the elliptical machine be bad for a recovering ankle?

I just noticed recently that when i sleep and try to move my leg I get a sharp pain in my achilles. Is this just because im putting all the stress somewhere else other than my ankle or does anyone else know?

yeah i was at our schools state championship lacrosse game and i hit some dirt and fell back and, instinctivly i put my left foot down to catch my self and oh man my ankle swelled up good haha

i dont know what to say to that haha

my recovery will probably end up being longer because i keep falling or slipping and putting my ankle down to support me

yeah... our high school hockey league starts first week in july i wanna be able to play in that late july like around like the 20th but idk

im not sure if it broke all the way through but its a quick recovery so it most likely didnt but what do i know

i dont have a hard cast. i have a removable boot that every night i can take off and shower without it, and to stretch it and massage the ligaments.

i broke the ankle bone that connects to the fibula and its a clean break no shifting of the bone. I have it on cd but its with the orthopedic guy now but i go back tuesday for follow up x-rays. he said 6-8 weeks but there is really no pain and idk what he means by 6-8 weeks

well last Sunday I broke my ankle when someone stick checked my blade and went feet first into the boards. It wasnt a bad break but i am still out for six weeks. What does everyone sugest for leg work and ankle streghth for when i get my boot taken off. And how long should it take for me to skate again?

Any word on the Giants vs Hat Tigers game score?

Did any of you who are saying the refs blew it at the end of the game even watch? If you see the replays you can clearly see that nobody put their hand over top of the puck. I can see that maybe about a second should have been put back on the clock, and a faceoff taken, but that's hardly blowing the game. Perron didn't really throw a punch at Sexsmith at the end of the game either. As the buzzer went he was in the crease kind of jamming away with his stick and fell into Sexsmith. Tyson then sort of gave him the backside of the head facewash with his trapper, and when Perron got up he kind of just threw a glove hand towards him. It was nothing to write home about. The game on the other hand was quite good. Despite only a 2-1 score, it was very exciting. I agree with the poster who said Bernier kept Lewiston in the game. The giants had an incredible number of good chances in that 3rd period. Very good game. Like i said "shouldve been a penalty shot from what i heard on the radio, anyone see it?" i didnt say i saw it, just clearing that up
