  1. Well, during only my second time using it, I snapped one of my Redlite XN10s that I purchased during that Hockeygiant sale, in half. I took a slapshot about 3-4 inches up from the connection point and it just shattered. So I sent it back to TPS and got this in return...

TPS Response R6 Regular flex. I threw a Forsberg Easton ST in it. Have not used it yet.

Nice shaft, the new Grip zone feature is awesome. My brother got a prostock Response Lite. Too bad his stick is left handed. I might just have to hack off the blade on that Response Lite...

  2. Briggy what would you say are the differences and similarities of the XXX lite and stealth CNT? Which do you like better? I had two XXX lites, both broke but they were my absolute favorite sticks, and now i'm considering yet another XXX lite or a stealth CNT. Thanks for any help, and anyone else who has these two sticks feel free to jump in. :P

Well they are both two light composite sticks. I like the CNT Stealth better than the XXX Lite. As Top Shelf said, the shaft shapes are both different. XXX Lite being rounded while the Stealth being more concave and boxier. I prefer the Stealth due to its shaft shape and the curve(Iginla). If the CNT has your curve then I say give it a shot. If worst comes to worst just sell it here, im sure someone will take if off your hands if you dont care for it.

  3. what gloves are you using now?

I just picked up the Eastons and TPS for $25 each at the Panthers equipment sale. Im trying out all my options now looking for the best feeling glove. Like I said before I do have glove issues. And I appreciate everyones help on MSH for trying to ease my illness by taking the gloves off my hands. So far though the Easton pro returns are my favorite. Broken in, yet not worn down.

  4. hmmm what kind of Reponse is that? is that an XN10 or something different?

I believe its a Larionov Response. Still a sweet stick none the less. I saw some kid at my roller rink using that same shaft and im a little curious as to how he obtained one.

  5. This is my favorite pieces of equipment. In the mail as we speak is a brand new Inno 1100 shaft  in a 420 flex with an Inno McCarty blade.

Quick Update here is my new Inno, its grip is very nice and the McCarty curve is a tad bigger than the Easton Iginla.

  7. Reviewer: 6' 170 lbs, all defense

    Curve: Tkachuk(Beast curve for snappers)

Intangibles: This blade had a nice look to it. The blade looked similiar to my Response Plus. All black blade with a graphic on the back, but if you tape it and take the tape off the image comes off with the tape.

Stiffness: The stiffness I cant complain about, it feels similiar to my Response Plus, and the blade is still strong and doesnt look like it is going soft any time soon. The curve is one of my favorites, so it didnt take anytime to adjust to it. The stiffness helped my accuracy a lot, and I feel it is infact stiffer than my Repsone. 10/10

Weight/Balance: When I put this blade in my Redlite XN10, the shaft couldnt be more well balanced. The only thing I did not like about this combo was that it was too light, but I am now getting use to it. 10/10

Stickhandling/Receiving Passes: Stickhandling is very nice. The blade has great feel to it, and I hardly have to take a peak down to see whats going on. Since I am getting used to the Tkachuk curve, I can pull off moves the same as any other. There isnt much different in passing with this blade. I feel it is identical to my Response, so I cant really say to much for that. 8/10

Shooting: When it comes to shooting I am glad a have this blade. The balance is amazing and when I take snappers they are much faster and more accurate than my Response Plus. I am having trouble taking slapshot with this combo, but I mainly take Snap shots. The main reason I continue to use this combo, is for the snappers. My snap shots are faster then some of the guys slappers in my league. It feels good knowing this...10/10

Durability: I havent had this blade for too long but, so far I have used this blade at three open hockey sessions and one evaluation and two practices. The blade is still strong and doesnt look like its going to become weak anytime soon.9/10

Conclusion: Overall this blade is excellent. I like how my snappers improve, but my slap shots suffer. This was my first TPS replacement blade and I am very impressed. The design is very nice and I will most likely pick up another.9.5/10
