Good call their an 8EE. I know technically they should have a small chassis as mission mediums start at a 9, but I had the chassis lying around and figured they would work. I wish I knew the differences in length between the small and medium as it would really help. From the picture of your skates, I can't imagine a small chassis has a shorter wheel base at all as there is not much room between your wheels. I would guess, the difference between a small and medium would be where the mounting points are. Does that make sense? FYI, I know that the small Vanguard chassis on the Soldier series skate uses the 80/76mm combination. Good luck! By the way, the skates look great...I think the medium chassis was the right call.

After much flip flopping, I had these mounted over the weekend...

I apologize if this is a bit off topic...I'm looking to mount a set of Labeda Hummers on some CCM 992 Super Tacks. Does anyone know if the dremel'ing process needs to be done prior to mounting the chassis, or if it can be done sufficiently after the chassis is mounted? Second, does anyone have a shop that they recommend for taking off an ice blade holder and mounting chassis in the Los Angeles/Orange County area?

I've always liked the XXXX's. Nice set up.

I know this is off topic, but I didn't know where else to post...if anyone has a Hum'er Chassis (size medium) or a Vanguard Chassis (size medium) that they are looking to get rid of...let me know. Thanks. -Mike

Just dropped off a pair of CCM 992's to be converted...just dropping on an aluminum Mission HiLo w/ some Labeda Milleniums. I'll post pics once I get them all situated. -Mike
