  1. I was going to a hockey tournament in Ottawa and our team stayed at SouthWay Inn which happened to be right across the street. I needed new skates as my 5k pumps were all torn. I was there for about 20 mins browsing skates and I couldn't decide between S15s and one95s so one of the employees (who looked like Jason Spezza LOL) measured my feet then brought 5 boxes of skates, I was overwhelmed that someone would do this for me. Helped him put the skates back in the boxes then he put the one95s in the oven. Needed some sticks so i bought an ak27 combo and a one95 blade. One of the nice girls at the till said something about her being sorry that I couldn't get a deal which i never even asked for. We won the tournament! :P Went there last week and they all recognized me and asked how the skates were and everything.
  2. Helmet: Easton S17 w/ Cascade CHX chrome cage - Comfy Shoulder Pads: CCM V10.0 OVE - Don't feel a thing when hit with people, pucks or ice Elbow Pads: RBK 3K - they were cheap.. but i'm getting new ones Pants: Warrior Method - the best Shin Pads: Shock Doctor - had them since i started playing, very protective Skates: NBH One95 - Everyone knows.... Gloves: Warrior MacDaddy - good feel on my hands and stick, not too heavy Sticks: Warrior Dolomite and AK27 both w/ Oggie Ergo grip - for my soft hands, gives me nice shots. Especially the AK27
  3. 5'11, 145 lbs, first month in midgets AAA, Left Wing. 15 yrs old. CCM V10.0 Shoulder Pads. Fit: Very comfortable, seems like i have unlimited mobility. The straps on the side make the pads "hug" my chest, since i don't like loose pads, they're perfect. Straps on the arms are the same, sorta loose but that's my fault, I need to build up the guns. :P 10/10 Protection: Protection is superb, been hit by pucks, sticks and the ice and never got a bruise. Compared to my old RBK 3k shoulder pads (which whenever i got hit hard into the boards or ice i couldn't breathe almost) I don't feel a thing. 10/10 Weight: Although, they're not that light. The weight doesn't bother me at all. They seem to be a bit lighter than Farrell shoulder pads. 8/10 Durability: Had these for about a month and a half, I play 5-6 times per week. They're holding up really well since I go through shoulder pads pretty well, they stitching on a leather piece where (located by the "C" that goes on my jersey) it connects the chest piece and arm piece is starting to "un-stitch". It's ok, because there's another piece that connects the two. for durability: 9.5/10 Overall: I just love these, planning to keep them until the Warrior Hustler comes out since Im a Warrior freak. They could use a little bit more breathability. 9.5/10
