gah... the worst part is that I had my mouse on the quick bid button but I f'ed up and clicked outside the popup box. By the time I recoverd (like two seconds later), it was too late. They even had the white felt 703 tongues and profiled runners just like I wanted

Savemefromtears... did you happen to snipe those on ebay for under 200? I was bidding on a pair just like that, won it, then the guy cancelled the auction because I needed a couple days to pay him. When it was relisted i had the money but I lost the auction with like three seconds left.

Here are the pants that I mentioned earlier. Contacted TBLfan outside of MSH and bought them for about 160 shipped. They're the older canadian made tacklas that (now the eagle ppf IIRC). Honestly, these are tied with my eagle ppf gloves for most comfortable piece of equiptment I own. Also, they're way more protective than my one95 girdle. The only change I would make is to get an XL lower to match the Large upper just because I'm so tall and narrow.
And here they are with some pro stock practice socks that I got off of ebay for 10 dollars shipped. They're covered in mysterious blue stains, but they're functional.

Both these gloves are sweet. I'm a sucker for the blackhawks colors though.
Those luxe's look unreal... personally I wouldn't wear them until christmas every year, but the fit and modifications make it look like a ompletely different glove. I'm planning on having the cuffs on my gloves shortened like these.

No.... my pro stock widow broke last week :( and now I'm using an old Easton ST. However both were non-grip. I can't afford a new stick on my part time job, so I think that I'm either gonna learn how to shoot without grip or sell some of the stuff I don't need.

New Eagle PPF's i got during the black friday/cyber monday sale on hockeymonkey.... only about $75 shipped. I should've really gottena pair of PPF+, but at that price I couldn't pass them up. I think i'm gonna have the cuff shortened at some point.
I've used them twice so far.... since they're a little bit tight for now, I'm gonna keep using my pros stock 9k's for games, but I swear that nothing I've ever worn has felt better than MSH2 palms. Comfy as hell, but for some reason, the shaft of stick rotates when I shoot when I wear these.
Of course, it might just be because my pro stocks have enormous holes in both palms.

Just like a picture of the socks laid out on the ground, a close up of the fabric/seams, a close up of the embroidered logo, and maybe one of you wearing it over a shin pad if it's not too much trouble.

That's true in some cases... I would have no problem wearing hockey tron shins or shoulders (assuming the only difference is the name), but I don't think I would ever wear gloves with "TRON" writtern on the in huge letters.

Thank you so much for the review.... seems as though the quality is lower than I expected. I was hoping for tron branded stuff that was modeled after the old Jofa protective stuff and was somewhere near that quality.
I'll give the knee pads a shot because of the value, but the gloves and 405 stick are both out.

Can anybody with the tron socks please post up some pics? I'm very tempted to get them since my team switched to solid socks this year.

Are you talking about the points in front or the bottom edge? the points in front are sharper than normal, but that's intentional. Why something custom unless it isn't available? THe bottom edge is just as smooth and round as the stock edge.
