blade noise

I just bought a Bauer Supreme 4000 blade and used it for the first time afew days ago. After I put it in it felt solid, so I used it in game and when I got home I noticed a rattling noise coming from the hosel area. Does anyone have any idea what this is? It was fine before I played.

it probably doesnt fit your shaft perfectly. your either hearing glue rattle around or just the blade shaking loose. pull it out and put a strip of tape on the hosel. try to scrap some excess glue and place it on top of the tape - heat it up and try again. its not unusual.

oh.. okay I thought of doing that cause I compared the hosel with my Hybrid Lami and noticed the hybrid lami was a little thicker and it didn't have that problem, so I guess I will try that.. Thanks

Its probaly just a little loose, dried up glue.

or maybe a chip of something (wood from the blade/piece of shaft?) is inside the shaft causing it to make some noise. Or your blade could be loose

i have a syntheis and a synthesis blade and the exact same thing happened to me. It gets very anoyying
