This wekend my sons team played in a tournament in Pittsburgh and I was on the bench as an assistant coach. We always dress up for these things so I was in a dress shirt & tie.

After Staurdays game we stopped at Peranis on the way back to the hotel.

I was standing there looking at skates and this guy asked me if we had the Vapor XXX in a size 9.

He thought I worked there. :)

Oddly enough, that happened to me just yesterday (only, I was holding my own skates just after getting them sharpened, not checking out a new pair).

Probably a combination of being older (since you have a son, I assume this is a safe presumption) and not wearing pants that are 30 sizes too large, drooping down to mid thigh, showing the world your BVD's.....
