baking skates

i did some research and they cant be baked. thanks anyway

Most skates can be baked regardless if they have thermoformable foams or not. A little heat softens leather, etc, and helps them break-in a little bit. Nothing like a true heat moldable skate but helps a little.

I've heated several XI's and lots of X's with no problems. 175 for 2 minutes should be OK.
