stiffness

sorry ive been tryin to find this on the search but couldnt find an answer. I was wandering if higher end skates are alot stiffer then mid level skates. because im an intermidiate skater and playing in a high school league. i was thinking of gettin the mission s400 or the L5 but would there be to much skate for me too handle or would they be to stiff for me? like i said im not the greatest skater and have a lot of room for improvement. thanks

The S series is a "supple fit" skate, which isn't very stiff.

The S series is a "supple fit" skate, which isn't very stiff.

It is stiff around the foot and back of the ankle but it's not restrictive. As long as you don't need the boot to keep you from bending your ankles you should be fine in the S400s. I have not worn the L5, so I can't really compare them yet.
