sonsplayhockey 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2005 I was working on my crossover skills today during lunch. The ankle on my inside skate is a bit wobbly. I would last about 2-3 circles then loose an edge. I had the feeling that my skate laces were not pulled tight enough (heat fit skates using thin socks). Maybe it was positioning of my weight on the inside skate maybe?I felt I was getting proper knee bend and I was keeping my shoulders level and head focused on the center dot.Any suggestions? ktang 34 Report post Posted May 21, 2005 If you have your weight too far forward on your inside skate, and if you are new to skating, your inside ankle will feel wobbly. If this is true, try putting your weight towards the back half of your inside skate until your ankles strengthen. You can still go off the front half of your outside skate.
