Recommended Posts

By improved i mean have the guys at bauer fixed some of the complaints consumers have had. Ive read alot about em and i get the impression the line was some what plagued with breaking down fast. im i right? if so has bauer done anything to change it?

A girl brought a pair of XXX she got from Hockeygiant or Hockeymonkey, I forget what one it was. In any case, the toe of the holder on the left skate was off by 4mm or so and the steel on both skates was not straight coming out of the holder. That's 4 for 4 with the kids that have XXX at the rink where my shop is. Every one of them has bad holders and 3 of the 4 have major gaps between the sole and the toe cap. The skates are well designed but the QA on the production side is not good at all on the skates that I have seen.

Plus, they charged her for sharpening before they shipped them but they still had the original finish on the steel.
