Vapor X and XX shafts..

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, just wondering if i could get a lil help here, ive done a bunch of searches and have not found alot on these shafts.. I have heard though that the X compares to a TFG but im talking the Vapor X.. Also, to my surprise i was in my LHS yesterday when i came accross a fresh delivery of a standard Vapor XX shafts, not OPS'.. I had never seen or heard of these before  Well, basically my Question to you guys is, what are your thoughts of the X shaft, and does anybody know the weighting of the X and XX shafts.. Cheers

No, they were not pro stock.. weird huh, never heard of or seen them before, it was just a standard composite shaft Vapor XX, they looked real nice but i didnt have a chance to check the specs on it cause i was in a rush to get to a game, hence why im asking the question about the 2 shafts weights ???

Ohh, and another thing, Im based in Sydney NSW Australia, and we got them in.. it usually takes around 1 - 2 months to get the latest equiptment in but sounds like they are un heard of in Can + US..

Well, most likely it was a tapered shaft, and the X is standard. Wheelbarrow handle on the X, which is sort of hit or miss with most people. They will both be light, I'm sure. Sure they weren't just XV's?

Nope, they were deffinatly XX's and they were not tapered shafts either, they were a standard composite shaft designed to fit standard blades.. ie Z-carbs and Vapor X blades..

XX standard shafts...you Aussie's are always doing things different down there! Haha. Even toilet bowls flush a different way down under.

Sounds interesting. I can't imagine they are much different specs. wise than a X shaft. I mean, it can't get much lighter, it already has some grip I believe.

I remeber when i was at the great lakes invatational a guy on the michigan team and a XX shaft. I remebered he switched to the xv later i think he broke the shaft or it could of been a XX ops that he may have made tapered it lasted the first period.
