billy idol devils playground tour

a few nights ago i saw my first concert ,billy idol and steve stevens had a little acoustic guitar where he like....shred on an acoustic ,except the acoustic had a really wide neck. does anyone know what kind of guitar playing this is? i think its called flamenco but im not sure. has anybody else seen the devils playground tour? it was amazing and if you can go ,go.

Most likely because he redid a couple Gen X songs when he went solo.
