Cuttin an SL

Has anyone cut their SL before? WHere did u cut it? I tryed searching but I couldn't find anything on cutting an SL.

I just tapped down the blade and onto the hosel untill I heard a hollow "tink" instead of a muffled noise and cut it there.the fuse point. I wouldn't think cutting an SL is any different than an original synergy.

You should be able to see a fuse point on the stick which is a line. Start there and very gradually go up the shaft until it is hollow.

Or you can cut at the "line" and chisel the crap out which would save you length and taper.....your choice

What I did with my original Synergy is this. Cut it at the fuse point so there is still the tennon in so you don't lose any taper. Once you do this u can see where the tennon is and where the shaft is. Take a peice of metal or whatever you can find that is long enough to go into the shaft all the way. Once you have this in the shaft slam hard and the tennon should pop right out.
