RBK shin guards? Any feedback?

I'm shopping around for a new pair of shins. My trusty Jofa 6090's have finally cracked on me. Does anyone have any feedback on the new RBK's? I'm curious as to how the 8K and 6K measure up especially since the 6K is vented and is pre-cut without the foam knee extension. These are the only 2 shin pads I'm looking at right now.

8k is the same pad but with the Playdry liner and dual straps. An improvement if you ask me.
