Hey New Englanders, in March, Worcester's DCU Center (formerly the Centrum) will be hosting a hockey expo. Just thought I'd let people know because it's been a while since I've seen one come through here.

Hockey Expo New England premiers at DCU Center March 2006

Hockey Expo New England 2006—New England’s first consumer-based hockey trade show—arrives at the DCU Center on March 24th & 25th. Hockey Expo New England 2006 will combine all aspects of hockey into one venue, providing players and parents an opportunity to speak with manufacturers, league organizers, camp directors and representatives of all facets of the hockey community.

Chevalier Associates Inc. has collaborated with Got Puck? Promotions, LLC, a manufacturer representative in New England and the event’s Presenting Sponsor, to produce Hockey Expo New England 2006. Chevalier Associates, Inc.’s record of accomplishment of producing consumer trade shows in New England dates back 26 years.

Friday: 1:00pm to 9:00pm

Saturday: 10:00am to 8:00pm

I was talking with the promoter in the store today. It's going to be a good show. Same days as the college games that weekend when 17000 fans come to see the games. They are hoping their show will be a good one. Expos are great when they are open to general public.

We talked about 2 for 1 coupons that will be avail in hockey stores, so look for them this winter.
