Comparing Sherwood and TPS blade lies

Recommended Posts

I use the TPS Nash blade, and it's the perfect lie for me (5.5).

I want to get a Sherwood stick with the same lie. The Pattern DB offers the Coffey, Spezza, and Bouchard as my options.

My concern is with the relative accuracy of Sherwood's published numbers. I know that there has been discussion about Bauer's lies being a bit off (both the numbers that are published and that are in the Pattern DB). Is that the same case with Sherwood? Does TPS 5.5 = Sherwood 5.5?

My only advice would be to head down to your LHS and pick up a Nash blade/stick and compare it to a Sherwood blade/stick. Other then that bit of common sense I have no idea on the numbers being different then what they are supposed to be.
