endplug idea

Recommended Posts

so i got this thing with bulky feeling endplugs...i just don't like em. now i'm a fan of the wheelbarrow handle on sticks/shafts and really don't like the super boxy handles...

so my brother had this bauer 4000 wood blade that was next to dead, and an idea occured to me.

i cut the hosel part off just before it started to turn into the actual curve, and stuck that into the end of my shaft. i coulda probably cut it a little more, but i didn't. i guess you could also make it into one of those curved handles like the 'powerplug' or whatever if you really wanted.

granted it was a tad bit too short for me (then again i could have cut it more), but it seemed like a good idea.

just an idea i thought i'd share for anyone who might care.

I did the same thing with my SL. I took the comp end out because it was to long and cut the hosel off the blade. I think it works find considering i only needed an inch or so. I only did it because i could find any other end plugs.

I started doing that a long while back...but a good idea nonetheless. You don't have to go out and buy one but it has it's length limits.

I did that so I could have a plug in the tapered side of a OPS.
