Hey I'm moving to Calgary next week and I was wondering what is the best hockey shop around...also if you know what part of town its in that'd be great...thanks.

Tuxedo source for sports is the best in town, either Tuxedo or BP Cycle...professional skate isnt bad either... but Tuxedo is my favorite, they have a wide selection of gloves, skates, sticks, bags, you name it. They also repair stuff if I'm not mistaken.

Come up to Edmonton if you really need anything. Go to United Cycle.

I'm going to have to second B & P Cycle for hockey gear. The stick room in the basement is cool. Sticks, blades and shafts for as far as the eye can see... :D B & P Cycle is located just north of 17th Avenue on 52nd Street SE.

For gear repair try Done Right Sports located on 52nd Street SE, just north of Peigan Trail. I also think they do the best sharpenings in town.

I suggest B n P first because its got new stock and everything. Tuxedo is pretty good but they are terrible for pants, shoulderpads, and shin pads.
