Hey I was just wondering who #22 is for the Houston Areos? I would look on there website but i cant go there for some reason. I was just watching him skate at the rink with some local UNO guys after drop in. I think hes here for the Omaha Knights maybe. You guys know anything about him? TY

If it is Junior Lessard, he's expected to be skating in Des Moines this year for the Iowa Stars. He recently signed a new contract, it was on the Stars website. Was he a readheaded guy, if so, it probably was him. Junior's got bright red, almost orange, colored hair.

Nope, shaggy brown hair. I talked to him tonight, He said he moved back here for some reason and that he played for UNO. I forgot to ask him his name. He seemed pretty cool, nice guy. Maybe #21, idk.

Might have been Jeff Hoggan. He played at Houston a couple of years ago (before Koivu arrived). Check out this link...

Last season 22 for the aeros was Lessard, Junior.

The guy sure doesn't get alot of respect for a former Hobey Baker winner.

The guy sure doesn't get alot of respect for a former Hobey Baker winner.

I followed the Aeros a little last year and Lessard said he was still adjusting to the speed of the game at that level as well as the size of the players. As the season went on I kept expecting him to improve but he never really did, not that he played bad, though . He skated on the first line, too for most of the second part of the year. I'm a fan of the UMD Bulldogs and I do hope he busts lose this year in Iowa and then gets a shot at the bigs.

Jeff Hoggan, thats gotta be him, that name rings a bell for the Mavs. Was watchin him do drills last night, and dam do those guys work there asses off! Not that Im suprised, Im just saying.
