Rbk 5K Shaft

Recommended Posts

Can anyone attest to the performance, feel and durability of the new Rbk 5K shaft?

I'm curious as the price point is a little better than most other companies offerings and I'm considering it.

Its as longer than any easton shaft (without the plug), so to me it FEELS as light or lighter then the z bubble, and way lighter then the ultra light, even tho the 5K might weigh in heavier. Its a good deal for the price.

I has one and i liked it at first but then i just became dead so i got a z bubble a much better shaft but the one thing about the 5k is the snake grip its great.

If you dont tend to take very many slappers its ok but its wicked for wristers

The poster above is right,it's a very good shaft for it's price. It's a very light shaft{even before I cut 3 inches off}.The snake grip gives it a unique feel that I have't seen on other shafts,so it's hard to compare it to others. I can't tell you if it's a true "shooters shaft" like the Z-bubble,M-2,Louisville Rubber etc...or more a "utilitarian" shaft like the ultra light/griplite. I haven't had it that long

i heard they get <<mushy<< but if not...what i really like with THC is they have the longer composite shaft...so sometime you have the impression easton are ligther...but easton also make the smallest shaft on the market so i think they are pretty light

And i would like to try one because it a really nice price point shaft...but since i heard the trick with their mushy feel i dont whant to shell 125cnd for it...
