movie problems

i'm using ares to try and get some movies and they're all .avi format, and don't work. is there a way to convert it to mpeg? or a way to make it work?

for some tips and guides, but mostly to dl the avi codecs you need to watch the avi files. usually there is no need to convert it to mepg, you just need the codecs.

codecs and filters you might need:

3ivX D4 4.5

DivX 3.11 alpha

DivX 6.0

XviD 1.0.3

ffdshow

AC3Filter 0.70b

You should be fine if you just download divx and try that first...
