new gloves

alright so ive had my eagle x-90s for 3 years now and the palm is just shot..i loved the wrist gaurd and the loose fit...now that im a poor college kid i cant afford 200 for another pair...im checkin out the oakley mace's on HM.com..can anyone who has these gloves help me out with some info? are they loose fit like the x-90s..hows the wrist restriction in them? i also heard that the sizing ( 13 1/2, 14") refers to the cuff length?? all the info you could tell me would be greatly appreciated!! thanks!!..ps..reason im so curious is cuz you cant return clearance item at HM.com..dont wanna drop 60 bucks on gloves i wont like..

They fit like X70's with a really really flared cuff.

I have Oakley Mace but i haven't tryed Eagle.

I think it's a good glove and have a decent "room" for wrist, but i wil like some little more, if you are a fan of "totally free wrist" (sorry but i cant explain me better) you may look on easton (tryed my brothers synergy 750 and have plenty of movement for the wrist).

Anyway Oakley have some decent "room" but try as much gloves as you can because your preference may not be the same as mine!

All 'top of the line' Easton gloves have the wrist wrap. I find it to be so annoying, and it keeps me away from Easton gloves.

i have a real nice pair of eastons. they are synergy 900 customs and i think are only availble to pure hockey in MA. Pics are in the buy forum under the subject pro synergy gloves.

IMO oakleys are very tight they feel some what like the bauer vapor series. I purchesed a pair from hcokeymonkey about 4-5 months ago and i love them. the 14'' gloves feel much bigger than other 14'' gloves. So you might wanna get a size smaller. All in all this are excellent gloves at unbeatable price.
