Painting a Synergy SL Black

Hey guys...sorry I'm pretty new here, I've been on the board for quite a while I've just never posted before. I did a search, but still haven't found what I'm looking for. I was wondering if anyone could help me out, or link me to the topic where one guy painted the bottom of his Synergy SL black from where it use to be blue. I'm looking to do the same thing to mine, and would like to see exactly what to do, what paint to use etc. Thanks a lot, and sorry for the inconvenience since it's been posted before!

What I did was put a strip of masking tape to keep a straight line from where the top of the black paint to go around the shaft and just used "Krylon Fusion" black spraypaint. Some people find laquer or varathane helps chipping too.

Miike a member on here is a buddy of mine and he spray painted one of his sl's i think he clear coated it after he painted it. but i dont know shoot him a pm or something.
