Vapor or Supreme fit

Recommended Posts

What is the difference between the Vapor fit and the Supreme line fit, if any? I know some guys on here have said they are produced differently, and produce a different fit. My bro had the Supreme 7000s then had the Vapor XXs. He said he didn't notice much of a difference, but the Vapors hurt less for some reason (all Bauers hurt him for some reason).

Is the ankle narrower on one, the forefoot wider? That kinda stuff would be helpful. Thanks.

Which would you recommend for someone with a wide forefoot and narrow ankle?

I'm gonna guess the Supremes based on your description.

Yeah, I'm diggin' the 80-90s. I used to have Supreme 5000 Comps when I last played ice, years ago. I'm looking to get back into ice now, and I want a good skate. Lightness isn't really an issue, as much as fit. I wish I could find 8000s somewhere, Id get them, even though I know they are being discontinued.

Grafs fit soo good, but at $480 bucks, that price is bit steep for my talent level.

Thanks for the info, JR...as always...Utlra Fresh...haha.

Well, I just picked up my 8000s. It was pretty much a toss up between the 8090s and the 8000s. I can't believe how light the 8090s were! The 8000s aren't that much heavier but the bottom line is they fit my feet better. I think you'll enjoy these skates if you get them.
