song transfering

im about to get an ipod and my computer doesnt have xp but my sisters does so ill use hers to put songs on it. anyways i have about 500 songs on this computer ,how would i go about getting them on the other computer?

Easiest way is to burn them onto CD as a data file, then copy them over.

No, if you make it a data disc it'll keep them in mp3 format and take up a lot less space.
