Vector 130 stick

After a few games with my v130 a few chips on the shaft and blade have revealed a rather v120 shade of orange. Anyone else notice this? I have no intention of starting a conspiracy theory, but I find this curious.

Also, does anyone know if the 130 shaft, mid flex takes adult tapered blades? Any comments on the flex of the mid verses the regular? I've searched, and I'm aware of the flex chart, but I'm looking for any additional comments.
