differences btween flex

Does Easton Ultralite and Z-Bubble shaft flex the same even both at 85 flex??...or is the z-bubble softer due to the focus flex part near the blade insertion section???

My z bubble feel softer then my UL if you take the UL 85 flex the z bubble feel like a 75 to 80 flex.And yes i think its cause of the focus flex.

Actually it would be because of the taper, not the fact it bubbles out to accept a standard blade.

UL always seem to be way stiffer than the printed flex for example my 55 flex UL is stiffer than my 65 flex SL.
