blackhawks4ever 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2004 Just got my Euro curve Synthesis blades from EASTWEST and the curve is sweet :P but the blade is about 1/2-3/4 inch longer than the Montreal's I'm used to . Can I cut off a 1/2 inch of the toe of the blade with out compromising the integrity of the blade??? Is there some sort of epoxy that I should put on the toe after I shorten it?? Thanks

kosydar 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2004 You can file it down a little. But like Buzz said, I wouldn't suggest doing that unless you're only changing the shape of the toe, and I'd still be hesitant to do that.
Kyle_M 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2004 If you shorten the blade it would alter the curve. It might be possible, I'm not sure how you would do it, but it would probably compromise with durability as well as curve. I probably wouldn't do it.
