wickedwrister 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 Been using a Tkachuk for a couple of months and have noticed a large amount of give/ flex at the hossel of this blade during slappers. Almost like a hyper extention if you know what I mean. Causing a loss of power and going way high over the net. Great for snappers and wristers, but funky on slappers. Anyone else have this issue? Did I get a lemon?

wickedwrister 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 Dave - it is supposed to flex at the hosel. I know that's the intended point of the PTC, but this seems more extreme than Easton's Focus Flex. REALLY noticable. It's making the stick feel like it has two very distinct flex points on slappers. One at my bottom hand and again at the hosel. I was just looking to see if anyone else had this issue. It's making a 80 flex shaft (Easton Hull UL) feel like a 60 flex.
