Mission Amp Flyweight '01

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have some information on the 2001 mission amp flyweight skates from 2001.

http://1800faceoff.com/prod_selected.ihtml...on=21&shop_id=1

I was thinking of getting a pair, how do they compare to top of the line skates from the past few years. Anyone have some info on the weight, I dont expect them to be on the sme level as the XX but want to make sure they are not bricks.

Thanks,

Chris

They're pretty light. Little narrow. They were good skates for their time.

What size do you wear? =) I got a pair of 7D's on the sell forum.

I hate those skates. I was doing a holder swap and the damn FootSox makes it hard to access the front rivets...

Thats funny because, I was going to convert them to roller. I heard you are the best, and since I am close by your my first choice.

I own a pair of those skates......

Love them. A bit narrow, but broke in very nicely through their first season. Love them more now than ever. The nicest skate I've ever owned. But that is not saying much......because they are also the first skate I have bought since 1982 and my Bauer Custom Supreme 100's.

These are pretty light, but mine are size 13D so they are of course heavier than everything else and I have nothing to compare them to.

I got mine for $50 US in Hockey Monkey's clearance bin last fall. Great deal for a reborn oldtimer league player with a limited budget to get back into the game.

give them a go....you can always trade them in if they don't fit.......that was what I was going to do buying them online without trying them on. I got lucky...hope you do too.

cheers
