PBRyan 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2005 a bit on the heavy side for todays shafts. I wouldn't say it performs as well as a Z Bubble, but it is a lot sturdier and durable (I've snappped too many Z Bubbles right above the flare for the hosel). Mine had the shark skin-like grip which I am not a big fan of. However, it is a durable, decent shaft. I would compare it more to a Ultra Light in terms of performance and durability(despite the taper). Definitely a stick you won't be hesitant to do some stickwork/hack with. cobrAA 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2005 oh thanks steeves...i tought the Taper flex was 290gr!...but keep in mind, guys, that if it showing at 295gram and the shaft is 51 inch long than a 51 inch z-bubble should be around 290gram too...
