Hey Justin, are the "built in" cups on this year's line of girdles removeable? Also, is the Thorax girdle more or less protective than the 10000 girdle?

You can pull out the hard plastic cup. As for protection, there is less protection on the Thorax...However, I believe there is plenty of protection for Roller.....I never used girdles, but have started to since the Throax came out..

And I assume the thorax is lighter and less bulky than the 10000, judging by the pics.

Size wise do they run the same as the old d-1 and d-2 girdles? I wear a large d-2 and i'll be picking up a thorax soon, just curious if they fit the same.

Thanks Justin. One more thing -

Since the Thorax girdle is described as a "HockeyJock with pads placed in key areas", does this mean the girdle can be thrown in a regular washing machine for cleaning?

The only reason I ask is because I had a D1 girdle get torn apart when I put it in the washer...lol.

You can throw it in the wash...All of the foam is easily removable for washing as well...Sizing is similar to our regular girdles....
