engraving jewel and ipod

I would have liked to have my ipod engraved and maybe the initial of my GF jewel or a little word engraving on her gift...

Any idea where it can be made?? do any jewel store can do it?

I would send it back to apple.....They can do it definantly..Ive had it done numerous times

i dunno why, but i really dont feel good about sending my ipod 20gig color over postal....

You might be able to take it to like a key carving store but I dont think it's laser cut.

i read that if you get it engraved, it voids the warranty, any thruth to this?
