Tackla 55 Silver pants

For those in the know can you explain what is the difference between the 55 silver, the 44 silver pants, the 5000 and the 1400 tackla pants. I am looking for a pair of pants for a squirt travel age kid. Any suggestions? He presently has Tackla 700 pants. He likes them, but has out grown them. Thanks
