buffalo.hockey 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 i am getting into ice hockey, and i am coming from roller, and i was searching on the internet for reasonably priced skates and i came upon these. Can anybody give me input on the quality, fit, durability, speed, and weight of these skates. Also, your opinions would help as wellskatesAlso, is it worth it to get the 4.0 skates when they are just 10 dollars less?
jimmy 194 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 It's a great skate, my best seller for 2005. Excellent quality. But... rather than buy online, why not visit your LHS and support them. Most retailers have them reasonably priced and offer free custom fitting and sharpening and way more services than the garage internet sites offer. For example, the garage sites offer these skates for around $179. That does not include free sharpening, heat molding, etc. You LHS prob sells it for $199, but inclused a host of free stuff/services when you buy from them. Well worth the extra $
Hockey96 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 I love the 6.0s. One of my favorite skates I think ive ever had. I wish I would have put down more money though for the 6.5 or 7.0s which have certain drying enhancments that the 6.0s arent equiped with. Other than having problems drying I recommend them.
