Length vs Radius

NBH is lengthening their runners on the LS2 Power for '06, how much does it have to increase before it effectively changes the radius? Or are we talking more like a snowboard where a 155 and 162 can have the same effective edge

It seems agility/maneuverability would be sacraficed??? what would be the difference than putting a 10degree radius on a slightly shorter blade vs a 9 degree radius on a slightly longer blade??? same surface contact???

The profile of the radius is based on the skate boot to the relationship to the holder not the lenght of the holder/blade..... New light speed......... gimmick??????

I don't think its a gimmick, its always great if you can lengthen the effective edge yet keep the same radius, I just didn't know what the break points were...
